Highlights
We’re so excited to be hosting our first professionally led Craft & Chat! This month’s will be a bit different as it will be at @joyflowerpotnyc in Greenpoint!
Enjoy our usual conversations and coffee in addition to a wonderful floral workshop led by the founder Kelly Nguyễn.
Kelly Nguyễn, founder of Joy Flower Pot, is a self-taught florist whose journey began in her father’s garden in Vietnam. From a young age, she was drawn to flowers not only for how they looked, but for what they carried—memory, care, and intention.
She went on to open her first studio on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, and has since expanded to Greenpoint, where she continues to build a space centered around flowers, community, and shared experiences.

In addition to our incredible artists, we’ve got a great DJ as well!
Anh DJ (she/her) @imanhpoint
Coming from the street dance scene, Anh has built a deep physical relationship with music, exploring movements and feelings through rhythms and the surrounding energy. DJing became a natural progression: learning to select and mix music that moves the body first. As a local raver and dancer in NYC’s underground DIY dance music scene, she makes her DJ debut this Lunar New Year. She’s bringing the spirit of Tết from her hometown, Saigon, and transforming it into an energetic and joyful celebration at our Tết feast this weekend.
Only two days left until our Tết Feast! We’re excited to feature three amazing VCS artists!
Hao Le is a local composer and pianist and Haakon is a professionally-trained violinist. Together they blend acoustic and synthetic music to create emotive soundscapes that invite listeners to reflect on the big feelings that come with everyday moments.
Valerie Nguyen is a New York–based singer-songwriter who grew up in Hanoi, Vietnam. Her music explores growth, longing, and the quiet spark that lives in the space between who we are and who we are becoming. For Tết 2026, she is joined by dear friend and collaborator ROH, presenting a mix of familiar songs and entirely new solo and collaborative works.

We are so excited to also feature The Lucky Ox at Tết Feast!
The Lucky Ox creates Asian American craft sodas inspired by nostalgic flavors found across Asian desserts, street drinks, and everyday moments. We take familiar pairings—often passed down through generations—and reimagine them as modern, thoughtfully made sodas.
Our flavors are designed to feel instantly approachable while still offering something new. Heritage Asian flavors, such as Pandan & Matcha, layered with depth and reimagined for modern drinking. They’re crafted to be enjoyed on their own or shared at gatherings, making them a refreshing non-alcoholic alternative for get-togethers, celebrations, and parties—without the bitterness or learning curve of an aperitif. Each flavor is carefully layered with acidity, sweetness, bitterness, and texture, creating structure and length usually found in cocktails.
Our second food partner for Tết Feast is figz n’ chibz!
They are a bakeshop and kitchen that is a warm seat at the table, a bite of your mother’s cooking, and laughter that lingers after dessert. Started by two best friends who started as co-workers at a coffee shop during the midst of their early 20s career crisis, we decided to deploy our passion to create and share love through community.
Inspired by our Korean, Vietnamese, and Cambodian identity, we handmake pastries, sourdough, and blend elements of East & Southeast Asian cuisine. This is café by morning and dinner party by night. Our goal is to connect the broader Asian-American diaspora through food and drink.
We’re excited to serve maivino again at our Tết Feast! If you haven’t tried this amazing wine before, check out their vegan friendly wines at @its.maivino!
Founded by Pam and Mai, two Vietnamese cofounders based in New York, Mai Vino produces organic, sugar-free wines in four signature varieties. We’ve enjoyed sharing their wines at past events, from Paint & Sip to our Tết Celebration, and were glad to feature them again for this gathering.
As we gear up for our January Craft and Chat, this upcoming Thursday, (Link in the Bio, only one ticket left!)
we also wanted to highlight some moments from our December session. We had an amazing time knitting and sipping with @hien.fromvietnam.
Stay cozy and warm this weekend! ❄️
